The 2020 line of Cadillac V Series vehicles ushered in a new era of performance-oriented sedans – evolving away from the "Art & Science" design language developed in the late 1990s. Taking over for the previous entry-level performance variant, the ATS-V, was the new CT4-V, aimed at small German sport sedans such as the Audi S3, BMW M235i Gran Coupe, and Mercedes-AMG A35.
