Description

As the most powerful Corvette of its time, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 delivered supercar stats with everyday comfort — thanks to a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 pumping out 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Buyers could opt for either a seven-speed manual with active rev-matching or an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic delivering a 0–60 sprint in just 2.95 seconds.

The Z06 featured a lightweight aluminum chassis, carbon-fiber components, and performance-tuned suspension and brakes — bringing track-ready agility to the street. Despite its aggressive setup, the Z06 didn’t sacrifice comfort. It offered ventilated leather seats, dual-zone climate control, a premium Bose sound system, and Chevrolet’s advanced infotainment suite. 

Built in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the Z06 was a limited-production machine, with just 2,732 examples produced in 2016. As MotorTrend put it, “Everything related to ‘performance’ has been seriously upgraded: suspension, drivetrain, brakes, wheels, tires, and aerodynamics — with an emphasis on downforce.”

Known Imperfections  

• A crack is noted on front splitter

• Delamination on the instrument panel near speaker

• CARFAX indicates “minor damage” to the front of the car on 23 July 2019, however the seller says this was incorrectly reported while the car was at the dealership. “Both headlights were replaced due to glue dripping on the inside of the bezel. A correction request has been submitted to CARFAX (along with paperwork from the dealership)."
