Carroll Shelby only built 312 Shelby Cobra 427 supercars in the 1960s, and of those just 31 of the S/C “semi-competition” variant. Such rarity results in genuine 427 Cobras costing a true fortune. But over the years, numerous companies began offering Cobra replicas, some with high quality and great historic accuracy, with others lacking in detail. The Factory Five Racing Mk4 Roadster is one of the most authentic Cobra 427 S/C reproductions.

Factory Five’s four-inch tube chassis and full independent suspension is fabricated much like the original, including Koni coil-over shock absorbers. Even the fiberglass body is shaped directly from two genuine Cobra 427 cars. Plus, this one is powered by a Blueprint Racing 7.0L (427ci) engine much like Shelby’s Cobras used. This 2015 Mk4 Roadster is finished in black with white stripes, and original-style details abound such as reproduction Talbot mirrors and Halibrand-style wheels, offering the Cobra 427 S/C experience.

Showing just 754 miles, this 2015 Factory Five Racing Mk4 is now offered at no reserve with a clean Florida title by the selling dealer.

The seller notes: “This car was constructed by a single individual in his home garage, including all paintwork. Overall, it represents a commendable effort and reflects a great deal of care and dedication. The finish presents attractively in photographs and from a casual viewing distance. Upon closer inspection, some typical imperfections associated with a home-applied paint job are present, including fisheyes, minor buffer marks, and general patina throughout. Additionally, the white racing stripes show some transparency from the black paint beneath, giving them a slightly muted or uneven appearance. This is the result of limited coverage rather than staining or discoloration.”
