Designers incorporated aggressive angular elements, but the largest change could be found under the hood with the all-new LT1 6.2L small block V8 engine, producing a reported 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.

Convertible production in Bowling Green, KY came after the first Coupes in 2013, hitting dealerships in early 2014. The first production 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible was purchased by Rick Hendrick for $1,000,000, benefiting the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute charity. This one-owner example is finished in striking Torch Red over Jet Black and has been driven just under 10,000 miles from new.
