Description
When the 2010 Camaro debuted with muscular sheet metal, a V-shaped nose, a wide rear with squared-off taillights, and a pair of V8s that produced 400+ horsepower, the GM faithful were thrilled. Little did they know that just two years later, the hot rodders at Chevy would unveil the most powerful Camaro of all time: the Camaro ZL1.
Named after the legendary 1969 ZL1 — a rare COPO Camaro built for drag racing — the new ZL1 was powered by a supercharged LSA V8 generating 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque, making it a formidable force on both street and track. Available in both coupe and convertible forms, the ZL1 featured a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual or Hydra-Matic 6L90 automatic transmission, both strengthened to handle the engine’s immense output. The car’s performance was enhanced by Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, and a specially tuned suspension system.
For 2014, the ZL1 received a new rear fascia and taillights, Recaro performance seats, and a color head-up display. Aerodynamic refinements like a vented carbon fiber hood, front splitter, and rear spoiler helped generate downforce, improving high-speed stability.
This two-owner 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Coupe shows 7,405 miles and has only minor imperfections from light use.
