2011 BMW M3 Convertible

Description

BMW’s fourth-generation M3 arrived in 2008, and one year later, the M3 Convertible debuted. All were powered by a new V8 that made 414 horsepower at a screaming 8300 rpm, an 81-horse jump over the previous M3’s six cylinder. Power flowed to the rear wheels through one of the world’s best dual-clutch transmissions, BMW’s lightning-quick DCT. An all-new aluminum chassis retained a 50/50 weight balance; braking was powerful and consistent with huge, vented and cross-drilled rotors; and advanced Dynamic Stability Control and Automatic Stability Control systems helped keep the M3 on the edge of adhesion in high-performance or low-traction situations.

The M3’s design was just as aggressive as its performance, with a bulging hood, wide fenders, stylish wheels, and quad exhaust tips. And the interior handled both comfort and performance driving with ease. Bolstered leather seats, dashboard, and steering wheel framed M-style circular gauges. And a premium audio system came standard, if you wanted to listen to something besides an 8300-rpm siren song. 

This 2011 BMW M3 Convertible features a power retractable hardtop, superb DCT dual-clutch automatic, selectable ride control, and minor modifications including a carbon-fiber rear diffuser and an upgraded infotainment system.
