The 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic is a modern homage to the muscle car era, blending retro styling with contemporary performance. As part of Dodge’s effort to revive the iconic Challenger nameplate, the R/T Classic trim stood out with heritage-inspired features like dual racing stripes, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, and “R/T” badging reminiscent of the 1970s original. 

Under the hood, it packed a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 372 horsepower when paired with a five-speed automatic transmission — or 376 hp with the six-speed manual as on this R/T. This powertrain enabled a 0–60 mph time of around 5.9 seconds. 

The R/T Classic also features a performance-tuned suspension based on its Mercedes-Benz W211 series siblings, plus rear-wheel drive and a throaty exhaust note that added to its nostalgic appeal. Inside, it offered leather-trimmed seats, retro gauges, and modern conveniences like Bluetooth and keyless entry. 

As Hot Rod magazine reported that year, “Sometimes less is truly more, and a car sporting understated modifications is all that’s needed. That’s the case with this 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T.” Just 1,329 were produced that year, and only 71 with the manual transmission — as on this like-new R/T Classic.
