Introduced for the 2009 model year, the Ferrari California marked a pivotal moment in Maranello’s history. When it was at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, the modern California reimagined a storied name first used on the 1950s California Spyder, blending heritage with modern ambition.
The California featured a front‑mounted V8, paired with the brand’s first-ever 7‑speed dual‑clutch transmission — an innovation that reshaped Ferrari drivetrains going forward. Its retractable hardtop transformed the car from elegant coupé to open‑air grand tourer in seconds.
This 2009 California’s 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 produces 453 horsepower, capable of launching it from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds. The Italian sports car is finished in Rosso Corsa (red) paint over tan and black interior with tan leather upholstery. Additional features include Magnetorheological (MR) adaptive suspension, 19” forged alloy wheels with carbon‑ceramic brakes, Manettino (“little lever” in Italian) driving mode dial on the steering wheel, pushbutton ignition, and integrated infotainment with navigation and Bluetooth.
This 2009 Ferrari California is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with some service records, an owner's manual, a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Florida title.
