Developed by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team in collaboration with Carroll Shelby and Ford Racing, the Shelby GT500 was offered for 2008 as a coupe or convertible. Its supercharged and intercooled 5.4L V8 was rated by Ford at 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft. of torque, driving the rear wheels through a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear axle.

This convertible is finished in Ebony with white GT500 side stripes over Charcoal Black leather upholstery, with a power-operated black cloth top. Equipment includes 18" machined aluminum wheels, sport bucket seats with Cobra logos, a Shaker 500 audio system, and a touchscreen navigation system. The odometer shows approximately 17,600 miles.
