In 2007, Ford revived the iconic "California Special" (GT / CS) nameplate—a tribute to the legendary 1968 Mustang GT/CS. This was the first iteration of the California Special for the S‑197 generation, offered exclusively as an appearance package atop the GT Premium coupe or convertible equipped with the 4.6 L V8. Exterior enhancements included unique front and rear fascias, rear diffuser, signature side scoops, bright exhaust tips, bold GT/CS tape stripes, and 18” wheels. Inside, the GT/CS received heated two‑tone leather seats, CS‑branded floor mats, and an upgraded rearview mirror with compass, temperature, and HomeLink. 

With just under 40k total miles, this 2007 GT/CS is finished in Redfire (G2) with a black convertible soft top and GT/CS decals. Interior appointments include bucket seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal and Parchment leather, air conditioning, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Pioneer touch-screen stereo with aftermarket speakers. The 4.6L V8 has been upgraded with a Vortech V-2 supercharger and sends power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission.
