Description

The Solstice arrived for 2006 as Pontiac's return to the two-seat roadster segment after a long absence — a rear-wheel-drive convertible built on the Kappa platform that prioritized driving dynamics and visual impact at an accessible price point. The stock Solstice was well-regarded for its chassis balance and proportions; this example takes that foundation considerably further.

This 2009 Pontiac Solstice is finished in Emerald Green Metallic over a tan and gray two-tone vinyl interior. The car was modified by Performance Autowerks (WERKSracing) in Illinois around a GM 525 HP LS376 "Hot Cam" crate V8, paired with a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. Supporting drivetrain work includes a GM billet steel flywheel with an LS7 clutch and upgraded master cylinder, a Werks custom short-throw shifter, a Werks custom balanced driveshaft, custom motor and transmission mounts, a limited-slip differential, and an LS3 ECM with a Werks custom wiring harness.

Additional modifications include a WERKSracing heavy-duty aluminum radiator, a Werks 3" true dual exhaust system with a Pontiac Solstice GXP rear fascia, and a WERKSracing tunnel brace built from 3/8" 6061 aluminum for added chassis rigidity. The car also rides on aftermarket 19-inch wheels with yellow-painted brake calipers, and features a bolt-in roll bar and aftermarket gauges to round out the build.

This modified 2006 Pontiac Solstice Convertible is offered with an owner's manual, a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Maine title in the seller's name.
