2006 BMW M5

Description
BMW’s M models have always been special, but the V-10-powered 2006 M5 is on another level. Its muscular body wears flared fenders and rocker panels, revised bumper covers, front fender vents, and quad exhaust outlets that distinguish it from a regular E60. Backing up that aggressive look is a 5.0-liter, four-cam, 40-valve VANOS V10 that belts out 500 horses at a screaming 7,750 rpm, while a sequential manual gearbox offering adjustable performance modes makes lightning-fast shifts.
Combined with an adjustable suspension, massive brakes, and sticky tires, this two-ton four-door offers the kind of neck-snapping acceleration and nimble cornering seen in lightweight, high-performance sport coupes. During a Car and Driver drag and road race comparison test, a writer exclaimed, “The M5 blasts to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds…the quarter-mile at 12.5 seconds and 118 mph. At the conclusion of our Grattan lapping, the M5 turned in the fastest time of the day at 1:31.25.”
This attention-grabbing 2006 M5 wears black paint complemented with a red Merino leather interior. It has a clean CARFAX History Report and a few mild modifications, and it has only travelled 50,734 miles since new.
