Description

The fifth-generation Mustang, code name S197, was released in 2005 to wide acclaim. Retro styling was in high demand, and the S197’s fastback roofline recalled the timeless 1960s Mustangs. However, the angular nose, aggressive body lines, reimagined rear end, and big wheels also advanced this storied pony car’s design into the 21st century.

The 2006 Mustang GT Convertible embodied affordable top-down velocity. A high-tech, single overhead cam, 300-hp V8, five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, limited-slip rear end, stainless dual exhaust, sport suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes came standard, as did fog lamps and a rear spoiler. Inside, a full suite of power options kept occupants comfortable, including a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, power windows, and power door locks.

The consignor states, “I purchased the vehicle from the original dealership as the second owner on May 24, 2012 with 11,521 miles on it. Every oil change has included BG MOA oil treatment and BG CF5 fuel treatment. The vehicle has always been garage kept. All original equipment. The vehicle has not been wrecked. I have owned a Mustang all of my life starting with the Mustang my dad purchased on June 7, 1965. I gifted that car to my daughter for my grandson. I have owned a 1965, 1994, (2) 2000, and this 2006 model.”
