Description

The Honda S2000, introduced in 1999, was designed as a modern take on the classic roadster concept, inspired by Honda's “S” roadsters of the 1960s. It featured a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential as standard, earning praise for its nimble yet predictable handling and ideal 50/50 weight distribution. In 2004, the S2000 received a swath of improvements including an increase in displacement to 2.2 liters for the North American market, new front and rear bumpers, and a retuned suspension to reduce oversteer. The S2000 has become a bonafide modern classic since its discontinuation in 2009, with well-preserved examples like this “AP2” harder to find by the day.
