Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The Cadillac XLR made its debut for the 2004 model year as a sophisticated, two-seat luxury roadster that represented Cadillac’s renewed ambition to reclaim its standing at the top of the American luxury car market. Developed on the same rear-wheel-drive C5 Corvette platform as its Chevrolet sibling, the XLR blended performance engineering with refined styling and was hand-assembled at General Motors’ Bowling Green, Kentucky, facility. One of its features was a power-retractable hardtop, transforming the car from coupe to convertible in approximately 30 seconds.
Powering the XLR was a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine producing 320 horsepower, paired exclusively with a five-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the cabin reflected Cadillac’s distinctive “Art and Science” design philosophy, incorporating sharp lines and premium materials. Advanced features included a head-up display, adaptive magnetic ride control suspension, StabiliTrak stability system, and a high-end Bose audio system. Positioned as a true luxury competitor, the XLR was aimed squarely at rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class and Lexus SC 430 in the premium roadster segment.
Now showing approximately 41,450-mile 2004 XLR was ordered in Crimson Pearl paint with a contrasting Shale leather interior and is now offered without reserve by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Florida title.
