Performance deals, especially among luxury automakers with devoted followings, are few and far between, particularly for exceptional cars. Featuring a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, 996 Turbos equipped with the optional five-speed Tiptronic S transmission - as this Basalt Black Metallic example is - could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds on the way to a top speed of 185 mph. As such, it was one of the most potent and capable sports cars of its time, remaining impressive even by today's standards.
