The new ninth-generation Thunderbird was inspired by the styling of its 1950s “Baby Bird” counterpart, featuring a mesh grille and the iconic porthole adorning its removable hardtop. Under the hood, a Jaguar-sourced 3.9-liter V8 engine sent power to the rear wheels with a five-speed automatic transmission handling shifting duties.
