Description
The fourth-generation F-body reached its peak with the WS6 Ram Air Performance Package — a factory-engineered upgrade that added a functional ram air induction system, high-polished 17-inch wheels, a tuned low-restriction dual exhaust, a sport-tuned suspension, and power steering cooler to the already capable LS1-powered Trans Am.
The WS6 package transformed the Trans Am into one of the fastest production cars available at any price in 2002, its final model year before the F-body's discontinuation. Today, low-mileage WS6 examples — particularly 6-speed manual cars — are among the most sought-after of the generation.
This 2002 Trans Am WS6 is finished in Pewter Metallic over a Taupe interior and was delivered new to Ricky Smith Pontiac-GMC in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Purchased new by the seller, it now shows just under 44,000 miles.
The car has since been modified with a TrickFlow 215 cylinder heads/camshaft package, and also features Wilwood 6-piston front brakes, a Strange Engineering chromoly driveshaft, Spohn Performance suspension components throughout, and SLP long-tube headers. Inside, a 6-point roll cage is complemented by driver and passenger 5-point harnesses.
Recent 2026 service is said to have included a complete McLeod clutch package, alternator, power steering pump, and belt tensioner replacements, and fresh fluids throughout.
This 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 is offered with various removed stock components, a window sticker, the manufacturer's literature, multiple keys, a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller's name.
