Description
The fourth-generation Camaro closed its production run after 2002, and the SS represented the most complete performance options of the final model year. The LS1 5.7-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and the FE4 ride and handling suspension delivered genuine performance credentials, and the SS package added specific appearance and mechanical content that distinguished it from the Z28 base.
Built at GM's St. Therese, Quebec, plant and fitted with the WU8 SS Performance and Appearance Package, this 2002 SS is a one-owner example showing less than 27,000 miles from new.
Finished in Black over an Ebony leather interior, equipment includes removable glass T-tops with sunshades, the Monsoon 8-speaker premium audio system with amplifier and multi-disc CD player, leather sport bucket seats with 6-way power adjustment on the driver's side, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with steering wheel-mounted audio controls, a factory Hurst shifter knob, and FE4 ride and handling suspension round out a well-optioned specification.
According to the driver's door jam sticker, this example has been altered by SLP Engineering past the factory options and features a center-mounted exhaust (CME) system.
This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a T-top sunshades, multiple keys, a CARFAX Vehicle History report, and a clean Colorado title.
