Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Porsche introduced the 986-generation Boxster for the 1997 model year as a mid-engine, two-seat roadster powered by a water-cooled flat-six. The Boxster S followed for 2000 with a 3.2L engine rated at 250 horsepower, a six-speed manual transmission, larger brakes, and 17" wheels.
This Boxster S was built by Vali Motorsports of California as a dual-purpose track and street car, refinished in white, and fitted with a 3.8L M96 flat-six that has been bored, sleeved, balanced, and equipped with a high-flow intake and stainless-steel exhaust. The seller states that the engine has covered under 3,000 miles since the build.
Chassis and body modifications include GT3-style adjustable suspension, adjustable lower control arms, a GT3-style front sway bar, a GT3-style front bumper, side skirts, fender flares, and rear duct, a rear wing, billet aluminum wheels on Toyo Proxes R888R tires, and a removable fiberglass hardtop with quick-turn fasteners.
The interior has been fitted with a 3/4 roll cage, race seats with harnesses, a quick-release steering wheel, and a kill switch, while the car retains its air conditioning, power windows, wipers, and turn signals.
This modified 2001 Porsche Boxster S is now offered in Florida at no reserve with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller's LLC.
