The sixth generation of Honda’s ever-popular Accord was entirely reengineered for 1998, featuring a new platform, body, and interior. Delivering a smooth 150 horsepower to the front wheels, Car and Driver magazine praised the Accord for its “world-class quiet” ride and “exceptionally good use of interior space” that buyers had come to expect from Honda. Standard on the range-topping EX model was an array of luxury features including a power moonroof with tilt feature, a driver’s seat with power height adjustment and adjustable lumbar support, alloy wheels, and a security system with remote entry. Today, these legendarily reliable sedans remain excellent and engaging drivers, especially when equipped with the five-speed manual transmission like the example offered here.
