Jaguar’s brochure for the 1995 XJS stated: “Historically, the cars bearing the Jaguar mark have distanced themselves from all competitors through their elegance of style and abundance of power. The 1995 models remain true to this tradition.”

In May 1991, under Ford Motor Company’s ownership the XJS was relaunched in its final Series III form. Since its launch in 1975, Jaguar’s flagship GT had gradually matured over the succeeding decade and a half, and the Series III was by far the most refined and best-looking iteration of the Malcolm Sayer design. Available in Coupe or Convertible models, the new “XJS” gained more aerodynamic, rounded front and rear bumpers, new taillights, and tasteful interior flourishes on the instrument panel and center console. Additionally, the jet-smooth V12 engine received upgrades to its injection and fuel system, along with new spark plugs, resulting in a tidier engine room.

Offered from the penultimate year of an incredible 21-year production life and three owners from new, this 1995 XJS Convertible is finished in Flamenco Red over a Cream premium Connolly Autolux leather interior and powered by Jaguar’s desirable 6.0-liter V12.
