Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The mid-1990s saw some of the best bang-for-your-buck vehicles ever sold to lucky enthusiasts. Manufacturers finally had the ECU processing power to match their fuel-injected V8s, and overdrive transmissions ensured that these high-tech performers would be pulling hard well past the quarter mile mark. And in 1994, the dollar-per-horsepower king was the $17,269 Camaro Z28.
The fourth-generation Camaro Z28 launched in 1993 with a largely Corvette-sourced 5.7L LT1 that punched out a tire-burning 275 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, which flowed rearward through a limited-slip rear axle. A short-long arm front and torque arm rear suspension provided high-speed stability and an impressive .90g of roadholding, and ABS-equipped four-wheel disc brakes quickly yanked the 3,500-pound Z28 down from speed.
Those mechanical goodies lived in an aerodynamic new body featuring a swept-back windshield and an integrated rear spoiler. Add it all up, and Chevy had one fast machine: the Z28 hit 60 mph in 5.5 seconds, and ran the quarter mile in 14.2 at 100 mph. And top speed? Well, we’ll let Motor Trend describe it: “Only aerodynamic drag, not mechanical sympathy, kept the Z28 from bouncing off its rev limiter. At that point, the radar gun said 155 mph.”
This Camaro Z28 was factory built for speed with the performance rear axle ratio, Z-rated high-speed tires, and 150-mph speedometer. It was acquired by the seller in 2002 and subsequently modified for track-day use with a harness bar, SLP chassis and suspension upgrades including Bilstein shocks, and Powerstop performance brakes.
This 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is now offered at no reserve with extra wheels, removed stock parts, parts and service receipts, a scan tool, a clean CARFAX vehicle history report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Additional Information
The seller states, “I purchased this Z28 used in 2002, and the paint, interior, and carpet are all original and in excellent shape for its age. My original plan was to use it every day, wear it out, and convert it to a time trials car. Well, the car never wore out, I got old, and the race tracks disappeared.
I went through the car from front to rear and repaired or replaced any items that were questionable, so new owner can enjoy their new car.”
