Modified 1991 GMC S-15 Jimmy

Description

Founded by Bill Bonadio, one of the pioneers of the modern kit car industry, Dio Cars has been a name in custom and kit car building since 1991. The S-Series Chevrolet Blazer/GMC Jimmy platform sits at the heart of one of the company's signature builds. The Dio S-40 kit was designed specifically around the 1983–1994 S-10 Chevrolet Blazer and S-15 GMC Jimmy chassis, making this 1991 example an ideal foundation for Dio's transformation — and one of the few Dio-modified vehicles on the market.

Modified with ‘40s-era front end body work, a front hinged front clip, fender flares, and a smooth rear bumper, this red two-door Blazer was reportedly modified by Dio Cars as their first production kit car, and it has an unmistakeable presence.

The interior features an aftermarket steering wheel and floor-mounted shifter controlling the 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. This modified Jimmy retains stock seating and a Delco cassette stereo.

This modified 1991 GMC S-150 Jimmy is now offered with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Oklahoma title in the current owner's name.
