The Ford LTD Crown Victoria served as the flagship of Ford Motor Company's full-size passenger car line from 1980 to 1991. Presented as Ford's counterpart to the Mercury Grand Marquis, the Crown Vic could be had as a two-door sedan, four-door sedan, and five-door station wagon.  

At its launch, the Crown Vic was built at several plants in the U.S., along with Oakville, Ontario. Canadian production shifted from Oakville to St. Thomas Assembly in Southwold, Ontario, for 1984, and the facility would become the exclusive production site a year later, producing the LTD Crown Victoria until 1991. 

To reduce production costs, the Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis shared a nearly identical interior, with only detail changes distinguishing the two. The final-year 1991 LTD Crown Vic received one noticeable tweak: the color of the parking light lenses were changed from amber to clear ... just as the model itself faded to black. The LTD Crown Victoria was replaced by the Ford Crown Victoria for 1992, making the ‘91 sedan on offer one of the final LTDs.

Ownership History 

The owner of this 1991 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sedan bought it used from Perimeter Ford in Atlanta, Georgia, on 24 August 1991. The car has moved with the consignor from Georgia to Pennsylvania to Florida and currently resides in Boynton Beach, Florida. Its owner says it has been mostly garaged and has never been driven in snow.
