Description
Acura launched the NSX for the 1991 model year as a mid-engine challenger to the established European exotics, and it was the first mass-produced car built around an all-aluminum monocoque chassis and body. Honda's engineers fitted it with a transversely mounted 3.0L C30A V6 featuring VTEC variable valve timing, titanium connecting rods, and an 8,000-rpm redline. Paired with the five-speed manual, it was rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft. of torque. Formula 1 champion Ayrton Senna famously contributed to the car's chassis development, which included four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, four-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS, and traction control.
This 1991 NSX is finished in Berlina Black over black upholstery and is powered by the C30A V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Factory equipment includes pop-up headlights, a rear spoiler, power-adjustable leather seats, automatic climate control, and cruise control, and it has been fitted with aftermarket wheels.
The car's timing belt was last replaced in 2016, and the odometer now shows just under 82,000 miles.
This 1991 Acura NSX is now offered with a clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a clean Washington title in the seller's name.
