Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

This 1990 Mustang was previously titled to 43 Racing LLC Park City UT, and appeared in multiple episodes on Ken Block's YouTube channel. Hagerty Marketplace will donate the buyer’s premium collected following the successful sale of this lot directly to 43 Institute. This is not a tax exempt or deductible purchase.

In the mid-1980s, the new, fuel-injected muscle car era began. And when the Fox-Body Mustang’s V8 began utilizing electronic fuel injection for big power, “5.0” became synonymous with some of the coolest hot rods on the street.

With sharp throttle response and impressive power and torque, the Mustang GT could run a quarter-mile sprint in the 14s. And thanks to capable handling, impressive braking, and stunning good looks, the Mustang emerged bloody but victorious in Car and Driver’s shootout with an IROC-Z and Formula.

The project was led by Hoonigan’s Zac Mertens at Hoonigan Racing Division, with the build covered in detail on the Ken Block YouTube channel.
