Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1990 Ford Bronco II marked the final year of production for Ford’s compact SUV, which had been introduced in 1984 as a smaller sibling to the full-size Bronco. Built on the Ford Ranger pickup platform, the Bronco II was designed to compete with other compact sport utility vehicles of the era, such as the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer and Jeep Cherokee.
The ’90 Bronco II featured a 2.9-liter V6 engine, producing around 140 horsepower, paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. It was available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations, offering versatility for both urban and off-road use. The SUV received only minor updates as Ford was preparing to replace the Bronco II with the all-new Explorer.
Despite its relatively short production span, the Bronco II’s compact size, rugged styling, and connection to the Ranger platform make it a unique piece of Ford’s SUV legacy.
