Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Ford's well-known motto in the 1980s was “Quality is Job 1,” and the automaker shouted it with pride after “a 1985 survey of owners has established that Ford makes the best-built American cars. This is based on an average of problems reported by owners in the prior six months on 1981-84 models of all cars designed and built in the United States.” It's no wonder then that Ford was excited about its 1986 offerings, which included the Fox-body Mustang LX, GT, and SVO. The ’86 model year was the final year of the third-generation Mustang's “four eyes” front end, which was angled back using four rectangular headlights. In 1987, the front end was restyled to reflect the contemporary, rounded-off “aero” style.
