Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
Introduced for the North American market, the Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate took its name from the acclaimed 1967 film "The Graduate," whose main character (played by Dustin Hoffman) drove Mrs. (and Ms.) Robinson in his Alfa Romeo Spider. The Italian automaker celebrated the film in 1985 when it debuted the Graduate as a new trim level for its third-generation Spider, which had bowed just a few years before.
For '85, the Spider was powered by a 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-four engine equipped with Bosch electronic fuel injection, producing approximately 115 horsepower and paired with a five-speed manual transmission as well as a limited-slip rear differential. The Graduate was the entry to the range, with vinyl seating and crank windows.
This first-year Spider Graduate is finished in white paint with a black convertible top over a black interior with vinyl upholstery. Additional features include 14" steel wheels with Alfa hubcaps, four-wheel disc brakes with power assist, black rubber bumpers and rear spoiler, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, rack-and-pinion steering, Jaeger gauges, and an AM/FM head unit with cassette player.
This 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate is now offered by the seller at no reserve on behalf of the owner with a convertible boot cover, an accident-free CARFAX Vehicle History Report, and a clean Virginia title in the owner’s name.

Additional Information
The seller states, "This is a clean and complete car with all data plates, excellent engine compression and oil pressure, and has new plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel injectors, and battery. The fuel pump and soft top have been replaced. The seats are in good condition; the driver's seat was recently recovered. It has had three owners and has been garage kept since 1987. On occasion, the odometer rolls over multiple digits.
The speedometer is functional; however, the odometer is inoperative and may occasionally roll over multiple digits at random, displaying higher than actual mileage. For this reason, engine compression and oil pressure readings are provided to help demonstrate the engine's condition. The seller states that compression measures approximately 150 psi across all cylinders, while oil pressure is reportedly 75-80 psi at operating temperature.""
