Description
Toyota’s second-generation Supra, introduced in the early 1980s, blended Japanese engineering precision with grand touring comfort. Built on the Celica platform but powered by a robust inline-six, the Supra offered a refined driving experience with sporty styling and advanced features for its time.
This 1983 Toyota Celica Supra is a one-family-owned example showing 122,967 miles. Being a P-Type (Performance) model, it features fender flares, rear spoiler, front chin spoiler, rear spoiler, larger alloy wheels, limited-slip differential rear axle, and eight-way adjustable sport seats.
Finished in Super Deep Red with a black rear hatch and rear bumper (factory correct for ‘82 and ‘83 model years) over black vinyl, it retains its original character while benefiting from thoughtful mechanical updates and cosmetic care. Powered comes from a factory 2.8-liter 5M-GE fuel-injected inline-six paired with a 5-speed W58 manual transmission and rear-wheel-drive.
Located in Spokane, Washington, the car features a working power sunroof, air conditioning, and cruise control, along with a host of recent service items including a new A/C compressor, rebuilt power steering pump, and new exhaust system. The original radio is included, though an aftermarket unit is currently installed. The car also comes with a rear window shade kit and extra hold-downs.
