The 1983 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale Fleetside represents the refined middle of Chevrolet’s “square body” generation, pairing honest utility with upgraded trim. Built on a two-wheel-drive, half-ton platform, the standard 250ci inline-six offers smooth, low-rpm torque through a 3-speed column-shift manual transmission. Front disc brakes improved stopping confidence, and the squared, aerodynamically conscious body panels reduced wind noise compared with earlier designs.
Inside, the Scottsdale elevated the base Custom Deluxe with added brightwork and a more comfortable cabin. The Scottsdale’s practical layout accommodates both work and weekend use, with a roomy bench seat and straightforward controls that remain easy to operate.
This Light Blue Metallic 1983 C10 Scottsdale was sold new through Schlesinger Chevrolet in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. It’s powered by the standard 250ci inline-six and column-shifted 3-speed manual and features a Blue Custom vinyl Scottsdale interior along with an 8’ Fleetside box. The truck has been stored for several years and should be safety inspected before street use. The C10 is reported to have had one repaint. This was Dave's company-owned work truck that he bought from his employer after it was a few years old. The factory cloth seat material was added by the dealer when it was new.
This 1983 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a clean Wisconsin title.

Additional Information
The selling broker states, “This example has had one repaint in factory color. It has been stored for years and while we thought about cleaning it, we felt the dirt and dust told a story and wanted to leave it as we found the vehicle. It is also nicely equipped with the Scottsdale package, cloth seat, replacement carpeting, floor mats, factory AM / FM stereo radio and factory equalizer, power steering and spare tire.
“Mechanically, it is a very nice vehicle, and the clutch was replaced with the pressure plate and throwout bearing, but the clutch may need adjustment as it intermittently does not want to go into reverse. Note the tires are older and should be replaced just due to age and an abundance of caution. It has also been stored for a number of years and should probably be safety checked prior to street use.
“Cosmetically, it has had one repaint but you would be hard pressed to tell. The door jambs and door corners are amazing, the frame and floor pans are outstanding.
“Due to the age and nature of collector automobiles, we cannot guarantee that every vehicle function will work as it originally did when the vehicle was new. These components are typically 30-60 years old or more and may need attention and service.
“In addition, many of our vehicles are from estates and have been stored and not driven. When vehicles sit for periods of time or once they are driven, issues can arise without warning.
“Due to age, all vehicles are sold strictly as-is without warranty or set aside. Pre-purchase inspections are encouraged and welcome while the auction is running.”
