Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

The third generation (C3) Corvette was introduced in 1968, and with a sleek new exterior design, that drew inspiration from the Mako Shark II concept designed by Larry Shinoda. The interior was also completely redesigned, which helped the third-generation Corvette set new sales records for General Motors. Available in Coupe or Convertible models, both featured pop-up headlights that were concealed via a vacuum-operated system. Utilizing many of the already well-proven components from the previous generation, the C3 offered a refined independent suspension with a variety of V8 engines on offer. In 1978, the C3-generation Corvette underwent significant revisions, including a fixed fastback rear window, square-shaped instruments, a glove box, new interior door panels, and relocated wiper and washer controls. The C3 Corvette is considered an American icon and is favored by many as one of the most accessible and dependable offerings of “America's Sports Car.”
