Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Well into the second generation, the 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 received a facelift that gave it a sleeker front end, softened bumper integration, and front and rear spoilers that made the Z28 instantly recognizable.

Under the hood was a 350ci V8 that was complimented by improved handling, wider tires, and sport‑tuned suspension, giving the Z28 a balanced, road‑ready personality. Inside, the car featured bucket seats and a driver‑focused cockpit with an instrument panel that featured engine‑turned trim, a 130-mph speedometer, tachometer, clock, and gauges instead of the standard warning lights.

This Z28 has been refinished in correct Yellow (code 34) over tan vinyl upholstery and tan carpet. The car’s 350 V8 engine has been swapped for a GM Performance SP350 V8 crate engine equipped with Fast Burn aluminum heads. The new mill is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox that was chosen by approximately one-third of original Z28 buyers.

In addition to the engine swap, modifications include Hedman long tube headers, rear disc brakes, American Racing chrome wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an aftermarket digital stereo.

This 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with a clean North Carolina title.
