Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE

Introduced as Chevrolet’s full‑size flagship, the Caprice Classic blended traditional American comfort with understated styling throughout the ‘70s. By 1977, the aptly nicknamed “box Chevy” featured clean, restrained exterior lines and a focus on ride quality and cabin space, making it one of the era’s most iconic full‑size American sedans.

This 1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sedan has been transformed into a high‑performance sleeper while retaining a subtlety modified outward appearance. Power now comes from a carbureted 454ci big-block V8 reportedly bored out to 468ci and paired with a 4‑speed 200‑4R automatic transmission. The uprated powertrain is complemented by a 10‑bolt rear end fitted with 3.73 gears and a limited‑slip differential. Additional upgrades include QA1 front coilovers, Bilstein rear shocks, MSD ignition components, and a four‑core aluminum radiator to support the increased output.

Finished in Medium Green metallic paint coated with a satin protectant, other exterior highlights include a white painted roof, modern LED headlights, and color-matched Rally-style wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires. Inside, the reupholstered interior features AutoMeter green-glowing instrumentation, a billet and wood steering wheel, and a floor‑mounted shifter.

This modified 1977 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Sedan is now offered at no reserve with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
