Description

Introduced for 1968, the third-generation Chevrolet Corvette (C3) carried forward the Stingray legacy with dramatic styling, improved chassis design, and a growing list of performance and comfort features. By 1971, the Corvette had matured into a refined grand‑touring sports car—still aggressive in appearance but more civilized in its road manners. Long sweeping fenders, a low nose, and the unmistakable “sugar scoop” rear deck cemented the C3 as a design icon.

This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is finished in its correct Brands Hatch Green (983), the only year this color was offered, paired with a Saddle (417) interior said to have been re-trimmed in leather from Al Knoch . A major renovation reportedly carried out in 2004 included a repaint, interior work, an engine rebuild with performance upgrades, and both a new white soft top and a refurbished black vinyl hardtop.

Under current ownership, additional modifications reportedly include a Vintage Air Gen IV air conditioning system, replacement electric motors for the headlight and wiper door mechanisms, a retro-style Bluetooth-capable radio, and new tires.

Reportedly only driven approximately 5,000 miles since its 2004 renovation, this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is now offered with spare original components, refurbishment documentation, a car cover, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
