The 1970 Ford Bronco Wagon stands as one of the most iconic early sport utility vehicles in American automotive history. Introduced as part of Ford's first-generation Bronco lineup, which debuted in 1966, the Wagon body style offered a fully enclosed rear cabin — a practicality-oriented contrast to the open-roadster and half-cab variants that shared the platform.
By 1970, the Bronco Wagon had become the dominant body style in the lineup, as consumer demand for versatile, all-weather off-road capability grew. Powered by a choice of inline-six or V8 engines, it delivered genuine four-wheel-drive performance in a compact, maneuverable package. A Dana 20 transfer case and solid front and rear axles gave it formidable trail credentials.
This U-100 Bronco is powered by a fuel-injected 5.0L V8 said to be sourced from a Mustang, paired with a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission. The truck is finished in red over black upholstery, and it rides on 15” steel wheels with Cooper Discoverer SST mud-terrain tires. Inside are aftermarket bucket seats and rear bench seat, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and an ATOTO Android touchscreen head unit.
This V8-powered 1970 Ford Bronco Wagon is now offered on dealer consignment with a Texas title.
