Description

Redesigned for the 1967 model year, the second generation Plymouth Barracuda would now feature exclusive sheet metal for this model while body styles now included convertible, coupe, and fastback variants. Described by Plymouth as “big without being clumsy,” the Barracuda Fastback provided customers with a desirable size which allowed for a modest backseat and adequate storage space disguised by beautiful exterior Fastback styling. A selection of engine options ranging from a modest slant-six all the way up to a 383 cubic-inch motor freshly upgraded for 1969 which increased power output to 330 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Considered by many to be one of the most desirable Barracuda variants due to their excellent size, competent performance abilities, and of course, good looks, these vehicles maintain a devoted following who appreciate their uniqueness over the more commonly found competitors.
