Description

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE The 1969 Mustang was introduced on September 17, 1968, with significant changes making it the biggest update yet to Ford's wildly successful pony car. The new models were longer, wider, and heavier than their predecessors, featuring a more aggressive look with a concave tail panel, convex side panels, and a redesigned grille that included an off-center pony emblem and quad headlights, two of which were positioned within the grille.

Built at Ford's Metuchen assembly plant in New Jersey, this example was optioned when new with the S-Code 390ci 4V V8 engine, which was factory rated at 320 horsepower. Additional factory options per the included Marti Report include a C-6 three-speed automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, and power-assisted front disc brakes.

The car was repainted in its current maroon under prior ownership, and it is equipped with a black vinyl roof, 15” American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels, and black vinyl bucket seats separated by a center console.

Acquired by the seller in November 2024, this 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe is now offered at no reserve with a Marti Report and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.

Ownership History

The car was acquired in November 2024 by the seller, who states: “It appears to have under 28,000 miles, BUT the title shows 'EXEMPT' mileage due to the age of the car. Mileage could be higher than 28,000, but the car was in storage for many years and appears to possibly be correct mileage. The owner passed away, and his nephew inherited it in the estate around 2023-2024.”
