Addenda and errata
Because the consignor does not have documentation to prove that this Camaro came from the factory as an SS 396 model, we've removed the Camaro SS and L78 engine wording from this listing.
Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
After a two-year wait, the stylish 1967 Camaro proved to be a worthy answer to Ford’s Mustang. And by 1969, the Camaro’s design was even edgier, with squared-off wheel arches, a V-shaped grille, vented rear quarter panels, and a sleek rear valance panel. Camaro had over 130 regular production options, along with six- and eight-cylinder engines, for near-limitless customization.
And the powerful Camaro SS was available with a 350 or three 396 V8s, and the choice of a manual or automatic transmission. The SS harnessed that power with a heavy-duty suspension, wider wheels, and power front disc brakes. Visually, SS versions got a unique hood, black grille (with black SS cars getting a silver grille), and SS badges on the grille, on the sides below the Camaro script, and on the taillight panel. Sport stripes accentuated the body, and front fender badges displayed engine displacement. With big power and incredible styling, it’s no wonder why the 1969 Camaro SS is one of the world’s most desirable cars.
This 1969 Camaro is a great example of a timeless muscle car: it has new paint, a new interior, and a refurbished chassis, and is powered by a 396 big block.
