Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
The 1969 Ford F100 is part of the fifth generation of Ford's F-Series trucks, produced from 1967 to 1972. This generation marked a significant evolution in design and functionality, featuring sharper styling lines, a larger cab, and expanded engine options. The F100 was available in various configurations, including the Contractor’s Special and Farm & Ranch packages, which catered to specific working needs with features like lockable toolboxes and rear step bumpers.
In 1969, Ford’s light-duty F-Series sales topped 500,000 units for the first time, reflecting the growing popularity of pickup trucks. The F100 offered several trim levels: Standard, Custom, and Ranger, with options for 6.5- or 8-foot beds in Styleside or Flareside designs. Engine choices included the 240 cu-in inline-six, the 300 cu-in “big six,” and optional 360 and 390 V8s. Transmission options ranged from three- and four-speed manuals to the Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic.
The 1969 model year also introduced new color options and slight tweaks to the grille design, maintaining the truck’s fresh and appealing look. Originally delivered in Washington state, this F100 Styleside is equipped with a replacement 300 cu-in “big six,” automatic transmission, and rich Cordova paint.
