Description
The 1968 Mustang arrived with detail refinements over the 1967 redesign — revised side scoops, updated sequential turn signal options, and federally mandated side marker lights among the most visible changes. The hardtop coupe remained the backbone of the Mustang lineup, outselling the fastback and convertible combined.
This 1968 Mustang Coupe left the factory finished in Acapulco Blue over a blue two-tone vinyl interior and was refinished during a 2012-2014 refurbishment. It is powered by a C-code 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and is equipped with power steering, power brakes, and an AM/FM radio.
Servicing said to have been completed at the time of refurbishment covered the engine, interior, and exterior with approximately 25,000 miles of use since. Most recently, the car received updated brakes, a replacement power steering pump, belts, and a full fluid refresh. The factory steering wheel has been replaced with a 1966 Mustang wood-rimmed unit, and the car rides on 15-inch color-keyed steel wheels with covers.
This 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe is offered with photos of the refurbishment and a clean Indiana title in the seller's name.
