Description
The 1968 Camaro refined the formula Chevrolet had introduced for 1967, carrying over the first-year body with detail updates that included revised front and rear styling, new side marker lights mandated by federal safety regulations, and continued availability of the Rally Sport and Super Sport packages that had made the first-year car a commercial success.
This 1968 Camaro Convertible was assembled at Chevrolet's Norwood, Ohio, assembly plant, and has been with the seller since 2013. Finished in black and gold, the car features RS-style hidden headlights and trim plus SS badging. Inside, it features tan seats, carpeting and door panels, a center console, a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, a Delco AM radio, aftermarket auxiliary gauges, and a Hurst shifter.
Power comes from a replacement 396ci V8 with aftermarket cylinder heads, an Edelbrock carburetor, and aluminum intake, backed by a 5-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. This Camaro convertible rides on 15-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels.
The vehicle was acquired by the seller in 2007 in refurbished condition.
This modified 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is offered with various spare parts and a clean Wyoming title in the seller’s name.
