Description
As the first‑generation Camaro lineup continued to evolve, the RS/SS package paired distinctive appearance upgrades with Chevrolet’s big‑block performance. For ‘68, the Camaro received updated federal safety features along with subtle styling refinements that further distinguished it from earlier models. The RS appearance package paired concealed headlights with additional brightwork, while the SS package brought upgraded drivetrain and trim elements.
This Van Nuys, California-built '68 Camaro Coupe is powered by a numbers-matching 396ci big‑block V8 paired with a 3‑speed automatic transmission. Originally finished in Corvette Bronze, it is now painted Hugger Orange with a white vinyl top and D91 “bumblebee” nose stripe over a black vinyl interior with wood-veneer accent trim. It's fitted with an SS-style hood as well as an RS-style grille with hideaway headlights, while its 15" Rally wheels wrapped wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
