Description

In the 1960s, Pontiac’s strategy to undermine General Motors' racing ban, was a unique blend of European elegance and American muscle. Named after the French city of Le Mans, home to the legendary 24hour endurance race, the Pontiac Le Mans aimed to encapsulate the allure of sporting European cars. By employing luxury features integrated into a full-sized chassis, the Le Mans, with its selection of V8 engines, demonstrated a steadfast commitment to performance. Interestingly, Pontiac took the innovative step of having the car homologated by the FIA in 1964, enhancing its sporting pedigree, bridging the gap between American power and European sophistication.

The exterior of this 1967 Le Mans Hardtop Coupe has been refinished in Tyrol Blue complimented by a Black vinyl top. Inside, the Le Mans boasts a driver-focused cockpit finished in Black vinyl with bucket seats, a sport steering wheel, and many performance-oriented features.
