Description

The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle featured the prominent "coke-bottle styling" for the second consecutive year before the car grew larger in beginning in 1968. Compared to the previous year, the 1967 models had less angular headlight surrounds and a larger bumper cutout beneath the grill. The Chevelle was available in three trims and various body styles, including a two or four-door wagon with multiple engine options. The SS 396 was available as a sport coupe or convertible and was perfect for thrill-seeking customers who wanted Chevrolet's renowned big-block powerplants. Known as "America's most popular mid-size car,” the Chevelle SS remains one of the most potent out-of-the-box muscle cars ever produced. This example offers even more impressive performance due to its performance upgrades, which include a big block 454 cu-in V8, MSD distributor, and an aluminum radiator.
