Description
When the Mustang debuted to global fanfare in 1964, General Motors knew it had to act fast. Just two years later, GM answered with the bold and beautiful 1967 Camaro. Designed with purpose and attitude, the Camaro featured the classic long-hood, short-deck proportions beloved by sports car enthusiasts.
Its sculpted body blended smooth curves with crisp lines, while flared wheel arches, a wide horizontal grille, and rectangular taillights gave it a low, planted stance. Chrome bumpers and subtle brightwork added just the right touch of flair to its sleek silhouette. Inside, the Camaro offered a driver-centric cockpit with round gauges, bucket seats, and a choice of spirited six- and eight-cylinder engines paired with manual or automatic transmissions.
And the Rally Sport package delivered distinctive styling upgrades: a full-width grille with hidden headlights, front valance-mounted parking lights, unique taillights and trim, and RS badging.
This 1967 Camaro RS features fresh paint and an upgraded drivetrain: its 383 cu-in V8 crate engine reportedly puts out 425 horses, is backed by a 700R4 overdrive transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with positraction, and has only seen 1,000 miles since being installed.

Ownership History
The consignor states, “I’ve owned it since mid-1999. The guy I bought it from had it 13 years. Original RS with the fairly rare factory front disc brakes.”
“No rust, Eastern Washington car and garaged since 2002. Drivetrain was replaced around 1,000 miles, or about eight years, ago. And the transmission was installed in late 2014. It’s been to the drags but it’s mostly a cruiser."
“It lived in Woodinville, Washington, Laconia, New Hampshire, Katy, Texas, and now Spokane, Washington. All moves were professionally done by car haulers.”
