Description
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
In the 1960s, buyers looking for a sophisticated muscle car turned to Buick — and the 1967 GS 400 Convertible dripped with luxurious street performance. Available in Coupe, Sport Coupe, and Convertible body styles, the GS-400 was based on the redesigned Skylark, rode on General Motors' new intermediate A-body platform and featured a modern body with clean lines.
The GS 400’s unique grille, twin hood scoops, and rally stripes whispered performance — which its high-compression, 340-horsepower 400ci V8 was happy to confirm as it shuffled power to a Posi-Traction rear end. Add in the heavy-duty suspension, 14” wheels, and quick steering, and you had a serious handling machine.
The GS 400’s interior was swathed in all-vinyl buckets with a center console, a deluxe steering wheel, and a host of comfort and convenience features. The best way to show off that upscale interior was with the GS 400 Convertible — though only 2,140 buyers chose this ultimate expression of Buick performance.
A 455ci V8 swap ensures that this 1967 GS 400 Convertible has even more bit. It refurbished prior to the selling dealer's acquisition, and it wears blue paint with chrome bumpers. It has been modified with an aftermarket hood, 18” wheels, and disc brakes. Inside, black bucket seat interior features an aftermarket steering wheel and auxiliary gauges.
This 1967 Buick GS 400 Convertible is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with removed stock parts, a convertible top boot, build receipts and service records, and a clean Florida title.
