Florida-based Revology Cars began reimagining classic Ford Mustangs in 2014, becoming the first company licensed by Ford to build new reproduction Mustang rolling chassis. With a mission to retain the classic styling of 1960s Mustangs while integrating modern technology, Revology’s first car — a modernized 1966 Mustang convertible — made its public debut at the prestigious 2015 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. A star was born.  

This 1966 Mustang GT Convertible, built in 2020, is powered by a 430-horsepower LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine, mated to a modern four-speed automatic transmission. It also has a fully modernized suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the Revology Mustang offers premium leather upholstery, touchscreen infotainment, air conditioning, and power accessories. 

“Revology takes no shortcuts,” Tork Buzz wrote. “They reinvent a Ford classic from the ’60s with meticulous attention to detail, blending vintage charm with modern performance.” 

This 1966 Mustang GT Convertible wears period-correct Springtime Yellow vinyl wrap over the silver paint that it was given by Revology (Unit No. 25), along with Porsche gray leather upholstery. The car’s modern odometer shows 3,129 miles. With Revology now focused exclusively on 1967 and ’68 models, this 1966 GT Convertible is a special one — a tribute to the past, built for the present.
