Description
The 1966 Ford N600 was part of Ford’s medium-duty N-Series lineup, designed to bridge the gap between light-duty pickups and heavy-duty commercial trucks. Sharing cab styling with the F-Series but mounted higher and further forward, the N600 featured unique “bat-wing” engine access doors and a raised roof for improved headroom. These trucks were commonly used for utility, agricultural, and hauling applications, and their compact design made them ideal for urban environments with length restrictions.
This particular 1966 Ford N600 underwent a comprehensive frame-off refurbishment by the current seller's friend as a personal project during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been transformed into a capable car hauler with a powerful 12-valve Cummins diesel engine, Allison automatic transmission, and a stout Ford 550 rear end. With an estimated 52,300 miles on the engine, new winch, and numerous upgrades, this N600 is ready for work, show, or both!

Ownership History
The consignor states, “A friend of our's built this N600 from the frame up as a personal project during COVID. It’s a strong hauler with a reliable Cummins diesel, upgraded transmission, and new winch.” The seller states the car hauler conversion utilized the powertrain and drivetrain pulled from a local church’s 1995 Champion bus, which was based on the Ford F/E-450 platform. This Ford N600 is offered with a clean Nevada title in the seller's name.
